Game history

It’s no secret that the game really has many types. If we take the beginning of the history of development, then there were only a few options that differed significantly from each other. And poker players had to learn new skills to play. For example, the knowledge that made it possible to win at Stud was practically useless when playing Texas Hold’em.

But over time, the game lived its development, and more and more new species appeared, unlike each other. Of course, there were also professionals who showed a good game in certain disciplines. For some, Hold’em was a priority, and for others, Omaha.

And at one point, a new kind of H.O.R.S.E. appeared, which was created to increase the dynamics of the game. And only after a while the organizers of the world series were able to consider the potential of the game, and since 2006 it was included in the tournament bracket, and its popularity began to grow.

What kind of game is it?

This is a rather unusual competition, where a variety of different types of poker alternate.

1. 1.H – Hold’em.
2. O – Omaxa.
3. R – Razz.
4. S – Stud seven cards.
5. E – Eight or Better Stud seven card.

That is, the participants had to take turns playing these types of poker. Most often, Horse is chosen by experienced poker players, as certain skills and knowledge are needed to win. And you need to make decisions quickly.

The game can be played by 2 to 8 players. The competition is staged, and the rules are formed, depending on the type of poker. As the name suggests, there will be 5 stages, each with a fixed number of hands. But there are some agreements to change the round, for example, after 10 minutes of play.

It is important to note that after the second round the dealer is not needed, and then the corresponding chip is simply frozen. And only in Texas Hold’em everything returns to its place.
